It turns out, though, that among Leonardo’s inventions there is a whole This fall I visited a Da Vinci exhibit in Denver, CO and looked at all of the great engineered items out of wood. I saw his gears, ball bearings, and beginnings of machines. He was a fore thinker and it is amazing to think it took so many centuries to develop the machines he initiated. http://www.davincithegenius.com/
Traub TNL-18 My Pick at IMTS Every year I pick an imaginative machine that peaks my interest at IMTS. Four years ago it was the Cubic Diamond Machine with B axis tooling and the Ganesh Sliding Headstock (with no guide bushing) both attracted me but the lack of local support is ultimately the reason Denver Precision did not choose these machines. Two Years ago at IMTS my pick had to go to the different types of new tooling and possibly the JSF 35. This year’s pick (2012) was the Traub. They finally retired the huge box that was taking up too much space on their floor, and dedicated it to a machine that blew their competition away. The TNL-18 with b- axis has an upper style turret that can angularly drill. It won my pick of the show! -Claude Knuepfer http://www.economist.com/node/21552898 WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS BOOM
This is our first entry to our blog. We will post current events and news articles pertinent to Denver Precision Products. The Tsugami S205 is our latest addition to the floor. It has been a difficult task trying to move 8000lbs at the exact angle desired to suit the aisles and existing machinery, but I think our basic high school trig class taught us well. Thanks to those teachers, production prevails! Machines purchased in last three years:
