Our new machine installed with a full B-axis. Just because I have not blogged in the past few months doesn't mean we aren't busy. We made 1,824,600 in 2018. This machine increases our capability to produce new, more complex, parts for you.
Denver Precision Products has been in Broomfield, CO at the same address, for 40 years.
We are 47 years old, but we have been at this location for 4 decades. This building has seen a lot of growth from Brown and Sharp Screw Machines to our new aged CNC swiss machines.
Here is to many years to come.
We visited a local restaurant and participated in a Clue like murder mystery dinner, who killed Riga Mortis? It was a very well organized event.
The Death-by- Chocolate dessert was very rich to say the least.
We replaced our 1994 machine with this new Myiano.
Fits in the space, and runs great. It is always a challenge to move machines around the shop, but in the end, it will help our customers by reducing cycle time and reducing lead time.
We replaced our VERY FIRST 1983 CNC machine with this very capable machine that runs similar processes on both front and sub spindle at the same time.
This machine is fast and furious. Check out this YouTube video from Citizen.
It is manufacturing day, we will celebrate it making widgets!
Our recent addition to the quality department is an Oasis. http://www.georgeproducts.com/
This vision center gives us a quick visual representation of certain dimensions reliably. We are integrating this machine as another tool in our inspection department to add computerized reporting capabilities that some customers may require.
How do you deburr? And what is a burr anyway?
Recently we upgraded our tumbling department to eliminate inevitable burrs on some parts.
The two tumblers on the right are older technology, but still very helpful and we found we just needed to replace some equipment.
The sPINer (picture on left) adds new technology to this department by using SS pins to deburr our customers' parts.
Stay tuned for before and after pictures......
